In summer you can start from the Hotel Arnica with your backpack on your shoulders and enjoy countless hikes in the Dolomites of the Val di Fassa.

If you love adventure, you can choose routes in the woods or on the peaks, on foot, by bicycle or even on horseback. If you prefer quieter activities, you can walk around Alba di Canazei, staying at the foot of the Marmolada and Sella mountains.

In winter you can immerse yourself in the fantastic world of Alpine skiing, thanks to the ski bus stop in the hotel car park and the ski lifts just 3 minutes away.

You can go to the Belvedere ski area, connected to the famous “Giro dei 4 Passi” also known as the Sellaronda, or to the Ciampac area, recommended for younger and less experienced skiers, who can learn to ski at the school camp or have fun at the snow playground.

Alba is also the starting point of the Skitour Panorama, the ski tour that links the three ski areas of the Val di Fassa (Ciampedìe, Buffaure-Ciampac and Belvedere-Col Rodella); 70 km of slopes, including the black ‘Vulcano’ and the black Ciampac slope, known as the ‘Pista del Bosco’ (Woodland Slope) and no less than 2.8 km long.
